Client Service Terms
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These terms cover paid campaigns from Moose Planet LLC ("Moose Planet," "we," "us"). They apply when you pay a Moose Planet fee, including a monthly song campaign or a show campaign. When you check the box at checkout and pay, you agree to them. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply.
What we do
We plan, set up and run paid ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for one song or one show, and send you a written report every Friday while the ads run. When a song campaign ends, we also check your numbers 30 days after the ads stop. The exact song or show, budget and goal are the ones we agree on by email before you pay. Work on two or more songs at once is quoted separately.
Our fee and your ad spend are separate
Our fee is what you pay Moose Planet. Your ad spend is what Meta charges to run the ads. Ad spend is billed by Meta to your own card, in your own ad account. It never passes through us, and it is not part of our fee.
- A song campaign is billed monthly from your start date: a lower first-month rate, then the monthly rate on the same date each month until you cancel. The monthly rate covers up to $5,000 a month in ad spend. Above that, the fee for that month is 20% of that month's ad spend, or the monthly rate if that's higher, agreed by email first.
- If we agree by email to add TikTok, the TikTok add-on is billed with your monthly fee from the month it starts. TikTok bills its ad spend to your own card, in your own TikTok ad account, the same way Meta does.
- If your song isn't out yet, we start about 5 weeks before release, and you commit through the billing month that includes the release date.
- A show campaign fee is paid once, up front.
- A monthly campaign fee is billed every month on the same date until you cancel.
- Prices are in US dollars and are set by your monthly ad budget, as shown in the deck we sent you.
What you agree to provide
- The ad budget we agreed on, paid to Meta from your card.
- Access to run ads for you: a Meta ad account you own, or one we help you set up in your name.
- Video clips or other material for the ads, and approval of the ads before they run.
- Music and material you have the right to advertise. You confirm you own it or have permission from everyone who does, including co-writers, labels, featured artists and sample owners.
- One person who can approve ads and spend, and replies within 2 business days.
No guaranteed results
We run the ads to find new listeners, fans or ticket buyers, and we report honestly on what happens. We can't guarantee streams, monthly listeners, followers, playlist placements, ticket sales or any other result. Meta decides who sees ads and what they cost. Streams from ads will not pay back the ad spend, and we don't measure success that way. We never buy streams, fake engagement or playlist placements.
Platform rules
Meta can reject ads, limit delivery or restrict accounts under its own policies. We follow those policies and will tell you if something is rejected. We are not responsible for decisions Meta makes, and those decisions don't change the fee.
Refunds
- If you cancel a song campaign before setup starts, we refund your first month in full. After setup starts, fees already charged are not refunded.
- If you cancel a show campaign before your ads go live, we refund the fee in full.
- Once show ads are live, the show fee is not refundable, because the setup and planning work is done.
- If we can't start your campaign for a reason on our side, we refund the fee in full.
Cancelling a monthly campaign
You can cancel a monthly song campaign by email or through the billing link in your receipt, at least 7 days before your next billing date, and you won't be charged again. If your song wasn't out when you started, you can cancel effective after the billing month that includes the release date. We don't refund part of a month that has already started. We'll stop the ads we manage at the end of the paid month, or sooner if you ask.
Who owns what
You keep your ad account, your audiences, your pixel data, your ads and your music. When we stop working together, you keep all of it. We may keep a copy of your reports and results, and we only share them publicly with your written permission.
Confidentiality
We keep your account access, numbers and unreleased music private. We only use them to run your campaign.
Disputes and chargebacks
If something isn't right, email us first at hello@mooseplanet.com and we'll work it out. Please don't file a card dispute before talking to us.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim about a campaign is limited to the fees you paid us for that campaign in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income or ad spend charged by Meta.
Ending the work
Either of us can end the work with written notice by email. If we end it before the work you paid for is done, for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the fee.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Salt Lake County, Utah.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted on this page on the day you pay is the one that applies to that payment.
